As 2024 comes to a close, it is the perfect time to look at one of Poland’s biggest box office hits with the biographical drama movie ‘Simona Kossak’ which officially made it’s arrival in theaters back on November 22nd.
The film, which premiered at the 24th New Horizons mBank International Film Festival back in July, stars Sandra Drzymalska as a scientist and ecologist, Simona Kossak, Jakub Gierszał as Lech Wilczek, and Agata Kulesza as her mother, Elżbieta Kossak.
Following it’s festival premier it would screen at the 49th Polish Film Festival where it would garner positive reviews ahead of it’s release by Next Film in Poland last month.
The film arrived in United Kingdom theaters earlier this month on December 13th.
